The YWCA Central Massachusetts has been providing services for girls, women, and their families in the central Massachusetts area for more than 135 years. YWCA is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.
Learn the approach the YWCA Central Massachusetts took to reach individuals in the community to build awareness about breast and cervical cancer. Beginning with connecting and developing relationships with organizations in the community to building a foundation to provide the resources to individuals. You will learn the challenges the YWCA had to overcome, the method they took and how it was successful, and how the whole project was so rewarding.

This presentation is meant to provide a detailed description of the essential elements of an efficient, feasible, and actionable evaluation plan. Drawing on best practices and lessons learned from the field of evaluation, it provides step-by-step practical guidance for anyone —current and future NNLM subaward applicants and recipients — considering applying for grant funds. Presenters will share valuable and vetted resources that may be used as templates in your own evaluation planning efforts. At the end of the session, participants will be able to: Identify and explain each of the essential elements of a well-crafted evaluation plan. Understand the common hurdles or potential sources of error in designing effective evaluation plans.
